About Me
“I don’t need to be more disciplined. I need a system that works with my brain not against it.”
I’ve lived most of my life with ADHD - and for a long time, I didn’t even realize it.
All I knew was that I was constantly trying to catch up. I’d start projects with passion, then burn out as soon as the details got messy. I’d get excited about a new habit, planner, or goal…and then beat myself up when I couldn’t stick with it. For a long time, I thought of myself as a quiter. Why start something new or try hard at anything when I’d just give up anyway.
I thought it was a discipline problem. I thought I just needed to “try harder.”
But it wasn’t that. My brain just doesn’t work like that.
And trying to force myself into productivity systems that weren’t designed for me only led to shame, exhaustion, and burnout.
So I built a system that works with my brain, not against it.
Why I Created The Skills Scaffold
I wanted a system that didn’t expect perfection. Something that would help me focus on the hard tasks, but was flexible enough to keep me going.
The Skills Scaffold is the 5-step framework I created to help myself - and now others - learn in a way that’s actually sustainable.
It’s not about “grinding” or having enough “grit.” It’s not about “sticking to the plan no matter what.”
It’s about building the skills you care about, your way. Because I believe you don’t need to be someone else to grow.
You just need a structure that fits the way you already think.
A Little More About Me
I’m a husband, dad, and someone who’s always loved to teach and help others grow. I’m a professional trainer and facilitator, so whether I’m coaching, facilitating, or just encouraging someone one-on-one, I come alive when I see people learn something new (it’s my dopamine fix).
Below is a picture of me and my family. We’re here to learn right alongside you.
